01 — THE STORY
I’ve always been curious about the reasons behind people’s actions. What started as a simple fascination with understanding how things fit together eventually became something much bigger: an interest in human behavior, crime, and the psychology behind it.
As I began learning more about criminology and forensic psychology, I realized that the part that interested me most wasn’t simply knowing what happened. I wanted to understand the decisions, circumstances, and psychological factors behind it.
That curiosity eventually became Crimson Mind Files — a place where I can investigate those questions, develop my own ideas, and document what I learn along the way.
02 — WHY CRIME & PSYCHOLOGY?
What fascinates me about crime is that there is rarely a simple explanation for why people behave the way they do. Behind every case are questions about personality, environment, memory, decision-making, social influence, and circumstance.
I’m especially interested in the point where psychology and the justice system intersect — how behavior is interpreted, how memory can shape testimony, why people confess, what influences criminal decision-making, and how psychological research can help us understand a case beyond its surface.
For me, studying crime isn’t about sensationalizing it. It’s about understanding human behavior, questioning assumptions, and looking at the evidence behind the explanations we often take for granted.
03 — THE PROJECT
Crimson Mind Files is a personal research project built around one goal: learning by investigating.
Through case analyses and research, I use this space to explore questions about criminal behavior, forensic psychology, and the justice system while developing my skills in research, critical thinking, and academic writing.
The project is divided into two main areas: Case Files, where I examine individual cases and the psychological questions surrounding them, and Research, where I explore broader concepts, theories, and findings in criminology and forensic psychology.
As I continue learning, Crimson Mind Files will continue growing with me — documenting new questions, research, and perspectives along the way.
